Notices – continued

I knew I’d forget something:

Presidents and Pairs – County Competition.

BCAA Presidents & Pairs

(BCAA members only)

Sunday June 24th, 2018

Assembly 10:30am, sighters 10:45am

At the outdoor range of St. Neots Bowmen in Offord Darcy (on Google maps search for “St. Neots Bowmen archery field”).

The round shot will as usual be a Western round (60/50yds). Shorter distances available for those who can’t reach 60yds.

This is a free event for all archers affiliated to BCAA via their clubs.

However, in order for us to plan the field setup we do ask you to register in advance—our field has limited capacity which means we might not be able to accommodate those who do not register in advance. Note that straw bosses will be used and depending on entries there might be up to 6 archers per boss (shooting in two details of 3).

Registration

Please register by sending an email to fixtures, clearly stating for each archer:

· Name

· Club

· GNAS number

· bow style (CU = compound, RC = recurve, BB = recurve barebow, LB = longbow)

· round shot (W = Western, SW = Short Western, JW = Junior Western, SJW = Short Junior Western)

· and current handicap number for the bow style indicated (please update your handicap when you book in on the day of the shoot)

Use of personal data

By registering for (and participating in) this event you consent to St. Neots Bowmen and BCAA using your data for the purpose of organising this event, and for keeping records of the result of the shoot. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

Awards

Available award categories will be communicated on the day. There are no individual awards: Pair awards are based on handicap-adjusted scores of two archers of the same club, while some club team awards are based on raw scores. If you or your club have awards related to the Presidents & Pairs shoot, please let the organiser know. It seems several awards have gone missing…
